Booking Policy
At Avahn Health, we aim to make booking healthcare appointments seamless and patient-friendly. This policy outlines the terms for scheduling, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments through our platform.

1. Making a Booking
You can book an appointment via our website or mobile app by:
Selecting your condition
Answering intake questions
Choosing an available doctor
Scheduling a time slot that suits you
Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email and SMS.
2. Booking Eligibility
To book a consultation, you must:
- Be 18 years or older (or have a parent/guardian consent for minors)
- Provide accurate personal and medical information
- Accept our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy
3. Appointment Types
We offer the following types of consultation:
- Telehealth appointments (video or phone)
- Repeat script consultations
- Alternative therapy consults
Each appointment type may have different consultation fees and durations, which are clearly listed at the time of booking.
4. Rescheduling Appointments
- You can reschedule up to 12 hours before your scheduled time via your dashboard or the booking confirmation email/SMS.
- Rescheduling within 12 hours may be subject to availability and clinical approval.
5. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made within 12 hours or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee (up to 50% of the consult fee).
- If your appointment was prepaid, refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 5–7 business days.
6. Late Arrivals & No-Shows
- If you are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, the doctor may cancel or shorten the consult.
- Repeated no-shows may result in a temporary block from booking new appointments.
7. Doctor Availability
We strive to show live availability based on your selected condition and preferred times. In rare cases where a doctor becomes unavailable, we will:
- Notify you as soon as possible (via phone, sms or email)
- Offer rescheduling with the same or another suitable clinician
- Provide a full refund if no suitable time can be found
8. Emergency Situations
Avahn Health is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 000 or go to the nearest hospital.
9. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Booking Policy to reflect new services or regulatory changes. You will be notified of any major updates, and continued use of the platform implies acceptance.
